Register with your band for the first showcase festival for heavy music - "THE NEXT GENERATION"!

The goal is to present the most exciting ROCK & METAL bands (and all harder subgenres) of the year to an expert jury consisting ats scene professionals (including festival and club bookers, magazine operators, agents, etc.) and together lay the foundation for the next generation of "New Headliners".

The event is also intended to serve as a national networking platform and to promote exchange within the scene, in particular also to close the gaps between the French and Swiss German part of Switzerland, and Ticino too.

Terms of participation

- A maximum of five bands will perform at the Showcase Festival (quality before quantity!)

- In addition, a maximum of ten other bands have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the professionals on site with a 90-second trailer.

- Each performing band has the stage at their disposal for exactly one hour.
(Stage Clear - includes changeover with set-up AND dismantling, playtime and line check)

- Minimum duration of the concert has to be at least 25 minutes
(Stage hands will be provided by the organizer)

- Technical equipment will be provided by OldCapitol according to the rider.

- Basic backline (drum, bass and guitar amp) will be provided, but each band can bring their own individual set up (own light or stage decoration can't be guaranteed and must be arranged in advance with the production team)

- Pyro elements or confetti isn't allowed!

- Running order will be drawn on the concert evening (approx. 16:00)

- On request, each band can receive a collected feedback from the jury with advice for the future

- Each performing band will receive 400 CHF expense allowance

- Transport, logistics and possible accommodation are the responsibility of the artists.

- All bands/ artists: must have their current location (rehearsal room) in Switzerland or Liechtenstein

- All participants must be at least 18 years old!

- Wanted music genres: Rock & Metal (and all other harder subgenres)
