The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths for young people in the UK. The Big Bang Fair will take place from the 11th-14th March 2020 in the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham.

This year we are piloting a Research and Innovation Hub, where visitors can experience cutting-edge science and technology, talk to university professionals, and understand the potential of a career in research.

Groups can talk about their research, along with some hands-on activities at their stand for the visitors to take part in.
As an exhibitor you will be eligible to attend our Kick-Off meeting for exhibitors in January at the NEC, and our STEM and Careers Messaging workshop in December in London.

At The Fair there is also the opportunity to take part in our ‘Meet the Future You’ panels at the Careers Cabin, where you, or a member of your team, can talk to our visitors about your research and career.

The research hub is subsidised space for groups to exhibit their research projects. For a 3mx2m space (including trestle table and 2 chairs) for 4 days it is £500.

Terms and Conditions
• University branding must be kept to a minimum and only used in the context of talking about your research project.
• We kindly ask that you do not promote university courses via your stand.
• The research project must be science or technology related.  
• Projects are only eligible to exhibit for 1 year.
• You must be available all 4 days of the event (11th-14th March)
