Blair Oaks R-II Elementary School welcomes you!

We hope to make the kindergarten enrollment process as easy as possible and are available to answer your questions. Children who will be 5 years old by August 1, 2020, and their parents are encouraged to participate in Kindergarten Round-Up and are required to participate in Kindergarten Screenings as described below.

Kindergarten Round-Up is a preview of kindergarten and is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2020. Eligible students and their parents are encouraged to attend. Enrollment packets will be distributed and students will enjoy a tour of the facility as well as meet teachers and staff. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a short school bus ride and ask pertinent transportation questions.

Kindergarten Screenings are required for kindergarten enrollment and will take place on March 26-27, 2020. Sign up below as soon as possible to reserve your time slot for your child's screening. Enrollment packets should be returned at your screening appointment. Please bring original documents for photocopying to the screening including: birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency - (1) utility bill (electric or water, phone bills not accepted) AND (1) property tax statement or lease agreement.

Kindergarten enrollment forms may soon be found on the Blair Oaks Elementary website's home page (www.blairoaks.k12.mo.us) and will be distributed at Kindergarten Round-Up. Forms are due at Kindergarten Screenings or at your earliest convenience soon thereafter so the school can plan effectively for the upcoming year. Keep in mind that school offices will be closed or open on a very limited basis during summer break.

Students & families are strongly encouraged to attend!

KINDERGARTEN SCREENINGS:
Location: Blair Oaks Elementary Gymnasium
Dates: Thursday, March 26, 2020, and Friday, March 27, 2020
Time (both days):  8:30am-2:30pm
All kindergarten students must be evaluated.
