*參加者最低參賽年齡為8歲 (2014年1月1日或之後出生),第二站最低參賽年齡為6歲 (2016年12月31日或之前出生)。年齡按年份計算。

**如組別參賽人數少於3人,主辦單位將按情況決定是否合併組別。

總決賽參賽條件:

分站各競賽組別賽員 以 *(冠軍完成時間/賽員完成時間) x1000 計算出每站所得分數,

賽員需於第一季 (共3站) 及 第二季 (共3站) 分別取得最少1400分 (滿分3000分),

或 

於第二季度總得分達2500分或以上

方可參與總決賽競逐總排名獎項。未能取得足夠分數賽員仍可以客席賽員身份參加總決賽。

分站獎項 :
競賽組別各組前三名獲頒獎牌 (同組參賽人數不足6人只設冠軍); 體驗組別不設獎項。

挑戰大獎:
凡ME/WE賽員在每站賽事資料公佈限定時間內完成賽程,可獲指定報名費現金回贈。

季度獎項:
競賽組別各組分設第一季冠軍 及 第二季冠軍, 各獲頒刻名精美獎座乙個 (上下兩季分開計算,3站中最佳2站累積分數總和最高分為勝)。

完賽獎勵: (體驗組別限定)
同一參賽單位於同一季度賽事內有效完成3場賽事, 可獲頒完賽獎牌。

總排名獎項:
所有組別總排名冠亞季軍 獲頒特色獎座、定向禮品 及 PAOC2023 賽事現金劵

Grand Slam大獎:
於同一組別同時奪得第一季、第二季及總決賽冠軍賽員可獲頒特別獎

(總排名成績將以賽員第一季單場最高分、第二季單場最高分及總決賽成績共三場分數的總和計算,最高分者為勝。如遇同分,以總決賽名次較佳者為勝。)

仼何組別的參加者均可申請賽事的出席証書,每參賽單位的證書費用為$30,請於報名時一併申請及繳費

如參加者未能自備SI指卡參賽,每參賽單位需繳付$10 (SI Card); $30 (SIAC Card)的租賃費用;所有賽員必須攜帶SI指卡出賽。

如賽事開始前兩小時,天文台懸掛紅色暴雨警告信號或三號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號時,大會有權順延或取消比賽,屆時請留意本會Facebook專頁或網頁公佈。不論任何情況,包括賽員未能出席已順延之比賽或賽事取消等,已繳交之費用一律不退款。

Competition Classes:

ME/WE - Men/women elite (individual; no age limit) (Difficult)
MO/WO - Men/women open (individual; no age limit) (Medium)
MS/WS - Men/women aged 40 or above (individual) (Medium)
MA/WA - Men/women aged 18 or below (individual)  (Medium)
MB/WB - Men/women aged 16 or below (individual) (Medium)
MC/WC - Men/women aged 12 or below (individual) (Easy)

*The minimum age for participant of the above classes is 8 while Stage 2 is 6, depending on the year of birth. It means that participants should be born in or before 2014 and 2016 respectively.

 **The organizer may combine different class(es) if the class(es) has/have less than 3 participants.

Novice class:

NS - Novice Single (no age or gender limit) (Easy)
ND - Novice Double (no age or gender limit) (Easy)
FAM - Family members aged 18 or above and aged 3 or above (no gender limit) (Easy)

Qualifying conditions for the Final:

Competitors must have already attained AT LEAST 1400 points out of 3000 points in Season 1 (3 stages) and Season 2 (3 stages) RESPECTIVELY  or AT LEAST 2500 points in Season 2 in order to be eligible for competing in the Final for the overall ranking.

Point calculation method for each stage:
(Winning time/your own time) x 1000

Competitors who have NOT met the above requirements before the finals will still be able to join the finals as a GUEST competitor.

Stage awards:
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 competitors. A sole winner will be determined if there are less than 6 people in the corresponding group. Prizes will NOT be awarded for Novice class.

Award of challengers :
ME/WE competitors who are able to complete the course within the time limit announced in event information can be refunded a particular amount of application fee

Seasonal awards:
Trophies will be awarded to the highest-scoring competitor from the BOTH halves of the season RESPECTIVELY. The competitor with the highest total of the 2 best scores in a season will be declared the seasonal winner of his/her own class.

Participation award:
ONLY available for competitors in Novice class who have completed 3 races with valid results in 1 Season. A participation medal will be awarded to each competing entry.

Athlete of the Year:
ALL competitors who rank in the top 3 overall of their respective class will be awarded with a unique trophy, orienteering-related gifts and PAOC2023 cash coupons

Grand Slam prize:
Competitors who are winners of the BOTH the Seasonal awards and the Overall Ranking award OF THE SAME CLASS will be able to receive a special award:
Elite classes (E) Cash prize of $700
Open classes (O) Cash prize of $400
Adult classes (S) Cash prize of $200
Student classes (A/B/C) Free entry to one of PAOC's orienteering training courses in 2023

Calculation method for the overall ranking
The highest score from the first half of the season, the highest score from the second half of the season, and the score from the finals will be added up to determine the overall rankings. The competitor with the highest TOTAL score will be the winner.
**The competitor with a higher place in the finals will be determined the winner IF there is a tie between the total score.

Enrollment Fee:

ME/WE/MO/WO/MS/WS: $150 per event
MA/WA/MB/WB/MC/WC: $130 per event
NS/FAM: $130 per event (per team)
ND: $220 per event (per team)

Discount will be given when register more than one competition. The information is shown below.

All participants can apply for Certificate of Attendance for each event. Certificate for each participating unit costs $30. Please apply and pay the fee while enrolling the events.

Participating units who cannot prepare their own SI cards will be charged for $10 (SI Card)/ $30 (SIAC Card) each day for renting SI card. All competitors are required to bring a SI card during the race.

If red rainstorm signal or tropical cyclone warning signal No. 3 or above is hoisted 2 hours prior to the event, the organizer has the right to postpone or cancel the race. Please find for updates at our Facebook page or website. In any circumstances, including participants cannot attend the postponed event or the event is cancelled, all the fees submitted are not refundable.
