Analysis and Evaluation of the Efficacy of Government Soft Landing Approach/Soft Landings and Passive House Buildings in the Public Sector (UK)
This research project aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the combined impact of Passive House building design and the governmental soft-landing approach in the UK public sector. Soft landings approach is a term commonly used in the context of design, construction and operation of buildings. It refers to a set of principles and practices aimed at ensuring that a building, once completed, meets the expectations and requirements of its occupants and operators. The goal is to transition smoothly from the construction phase to the operational phase, minimising any potential issues or disruptions. By assessing their applications, benefits, and challenges, this study seeks to provide valuable insights into the potential of this integrated approach for creating sustainable and high-performance public sector buildings in the context of Passive House standards.

Participation is anonymous, entirely voluntary, and individuals retain the right to withdraw from the study at any point.
