Thank you for reaching out!
The Level Up Project is an advocacy project for Black students aged 11-18 and their families. Through peer-led workshops, students explore student rights from an Africentric lens. In collaboration with school and community-based staff, this project aims to increase youth and family access to advocacy and efficacy skills to combat anti-Black racism and exclusion in education.
Our workshop sessions are best suited for Black students i.e Black Students' Associations, youth groups and diverse student clubs that would like to learn more about Black students' issues and anti-Black racism.
Single Session (45min): touches on student rights, pathways after high school, in-school accommodations, suspensions, expulsions and complaint possibilities.
Multiple Sessions: explore the same topics mentioned above but give more time for in-depth information and activities.
Please fill out the form below so that we may work our best to tailor our workshop to suit the needs of your group. We aim to get back to you within 48 hours.
Workshop are free, but priority is given to Black youth living in low-income communities.
Lunch and gift cards provided.
