This is the first step in the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/Credit Transfer (CT) process. In this form you will nominate the units of competency for which you wish to obtain Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer.

When completing this form, consult the 2020 RPL Workbook on the website which breaks down each unit of competency to make an informed judgement on your suitability for RPL/CT for each unit of competency. The selection of units must be guided by the skills, knowledge and experience that you have gained through recent employment, qualification and professional development. As a rule of thumb, if you are unsure about your RPL suitability for a unit of competency, then you probably shouldn’t include that unit on the RPL Nomination form.

𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙨:
• This is not a formal skills assessment or a qualification
• The initial assessment fee of $150 (not applicable to credit transfers) will be required before your application is assessed and you will receive an invoice upon submission of this form.  

𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:
Against the required units of competencies outline listed in this form, indicate which units you wish to obtain RPL or Credit Transfer for.
For Credit Transfers, you must provide a certified Statement of Attainment or Qualification with the matching unit code and title.
For RPL, you must provide a summary of how you feel your current/previous skills and knowledge would satisfy the requirements for this unit.

𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚:
“Based on several years in strategic leadership roles including current position as Operations Manager with ABC Counselling. I can also provide support letters from a variety of referees. I have also completed several units through Diploma of Management.”

Once you have completed and submitted this form, you will be contacted by an Assessor for an interview. Also read Stage 2 of the Candidate’s guide, as you will be required to submit supporting evidence during the interview.  

𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 10134𝙉𝘼𝙏 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙖 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙮 (𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡):
This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to provide Counselling and Psychotherapy services to individuals and groups (including families).   In addition to specialised psychotherapy services, participants are required to demonstrate leadership and research skills in their chosen area of specialisation.   The course uniquely focuses on the integration of psychology, spirituality and theology to provide a holistic psychotherapy approach.

𝙋𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨
To achieve the qualification Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Integrated Psychotherapy (Spiritual), the learner must complete:
Twelve (12) units –
8 Core and 4 Electives
