March 16, 2023 will be our 2nd Parent Teacher Conference event of the 2022-2023 school year!

On March 16, 2023, you have the opportunity to hear about your child's progress and to discuss his/her needs during the I.S. 5 Remote Parent Teacher Conferences. Due to the current circumstances and the diverse needs of our students and their families, the I.S. 5 Remote Parent Teacher Conferences will be conducted as one-to-one conferences via phone or videoconferencing (Google Meet/Microsoft Teams/Zoom). Conferences will be held either from 12:30-2:30 or 4:30-7:00.

*Videoconferencing is at the discretion of both teacher and parent, and is NOT mandatory.*

*Teachers may still reach out for a conference based on assessment of student needs.*

This is an important chance to find out about how your child is performing in such a unique, unprecedented  time. We are all here for you and look forward to checking in, listening to your needs, addressing your questions and setting your child up for success for the duration of remote learning for this school year.

To request an appointment to speak to your child's teacher on March 16, 2023 please complete the brief survey below and hit "Submit".   We ask that you please submit your request, by Monday, March 13 before 2:00 PM, so that our teachers can plan accordingly.

If you cannot participate on March 16 please be sure to note that below. If your child's teacher cannot speak to you during the Remote Parent Teacher Conference Day, a future appointment/outreach will be made.

¡El 16 de marzo de 2023 será nuestro segundo evento de Conferencia de padres y maestros del año escolar 2022-2023!

El 16 de marzo de 2023, tendrá la oportunidad de conocer el progreso de su hijo y hablar sobre sus necesidades durante el I.S. 5 conferencias remotas de padres y maestros. Debido a las circunstancias actuales y las diversas necesidades de nuestros estudiantes y sus familias, el I.S. 5 conferencias remotas de padres y maestros se llevarán a cabo como conferencias individuales por teléfono o videoconferencia (Google Meet/Microsoft Teams/Zoom). Las conferencias se llevarán a cabo de 12:30 a 2:30 o de 4:30 a 7:00.

*La videoconferencia queda a discreción tanto del maestro como de los padres, y NO es obligatoria.*

*Los maestros aún pueden solicitar una conferencia según la evaluación de las necesidades de los estudiantes.*

Esta es una oportunidad importante para averiguar cómo se está desempeñando su hijo en un momento tan único y sin precedentes. Todos estamos aquí para ayudarlo y esperamos registrarnos, escuchar sus necesidades, responder sus preguntas y preparar a su hijo para el éxito durante la duración del aprendizaje remoto para este año escolar.

Para solicitar una cita para hablar con el maestro de su hijo el 16 de marzo de 2023, complete la breve encuesta a continuación y presione "Enviar". Le pedimos que envíe su solicitud antes del lunes 13 de marzo antes de las 2:00 p. m., para que nuestros maestros puedan planificar en consecuencia.

Si no puede participar el 16 de marzo, asegúrese de tenerlo en cuenta a continuación. Si el maestro de su hijo no puede hablar con usted durante el Día de la conferencia remota de padres y maestros, se programará una cita/comunicación futura.
