Anmeldung Maifest/Maypole festival 2024

When & Where:
We are excited to be hosting the Maifest/Maypole festival again this year on Saturday, 4 May at Harlow Platts Community Park between ~2:00 – 4:00 pm. Harlow Platts Park Picnic Shelter is on Viele Lake, Gillaspie Drive, in South Boulder. Parking is available close to the shelter. The shelter has a few picnic tables and restrooms are close by. 

Our mission remains to foster the German language, as well as German music, theatre, literature and art, heritage, and traditions in the Boulder area and beyond. 

This cultural event is free to attend. Monetary donations to the school are appreciated. 

Activities:
  • Dancing around the Maypole
  • Children's lawn games (Sack Race, Egg Race)
  • Adult Lawn Games (Corn Hole Toss)
  • Making flower crowns
  • Face-paint
  • Flower Donation Requests
  • Waffle Stand (waffle dough, bring your electric waffle iron & make them)  
  • Popsicle Stand (1$ each)
  • Pretzels (homemade tbc)

In case of rain/snow:
In case of severe weather, we will cancel the event with sufficient notice and notify you by email.
