Encourage and support my teen in fulfilling his/her Confirmation promise. I understand my example of Faith will be a model for my teen.

Model active participation by doing my part to attend Mass with my child each week.

Make every effort to ensure my teen attends each class. In the event of an absence, I will work with his/her teacher and/or Pastor to ensure that my teen is caught up on the material.

Monitor my teen’s participation in Service Projects, and serve alongside of him/her when appropriate. I understand that I am responsible for verifying service hours recorded by my teen.

Facilitate the attendance of my candidate’s sponsor when necessary, and attend the sessions myself in the absence of the sponsor.

I understand the requirements listed in the Confirmation packet, including that all Confirmation candidates are required to attend the Luke 18 retreat February 2, 3, and 4. (If your child is unable to attend MQP’s retreat, then he/she must attend through another parish and communicate with Pam Miller ahead of time.)
