You should only be completing this survey if you will be in the 9th grade next year.  Please indicate your grade level.

9th Grade students will take Algebra I unless they successfully completed it for high school credit in 8th grade (must be on your transcript).  If you are certain you took and passed Algebra I, please select Algebra II as your math option.  Otherwise, select Algebra I. Selection of Algebra II is not a guarantee of placement.

Based on 8th grade report card grades and standardized test scores, as well as Cristo Rey Placement Test scores, 9th grade students may be placed in either Math Foundations I, Writing Lab, or both courses.  If you test out of either or both classes, you will be given the option to take an elective course(s) or start in Spanish I.  Please select your first choice preference for an elective or Spanish I, which we will review if you test out of Math Foundations I and Writing Lab. (Courses marked with an * fulfill the required Arts elective requirement.)
