The Theatre Philadelphia Emergency Relief program awards sliding scale micro-grants from $300-$500 to individuals who live in the Philadelphia region, and whose theatre income has been impacted by COVID-19 cancellations and closures.
While continuing to prioritize first time applicants, the program will grant requests for third time micro-grants as the program budget allows.
ELIGIBILITY AND INFORMATION:
Theatre Philadelphia Emergency Relief third-time applications is open to micro-grantees who have been awarded funds but may still have emergent need.
This means the micro-grantees already met the the following eligibility factors:
--Individuals must live within a 35-mile radius of Philadelphia's City Hall.
--Individuals must be active participants in the Philadelphia Region's theatre community.
--Individuals must have evidence of income loss due to COVID-19 while working in the Philadelphia Region's theatre.
--Individuals must not have another source of income OR a second source of income is also limited.
--Individuals have been accepted for a first and second time Theatre Philadelphia micro-grant.
Additionally, we ask that third-time applicants meet the following eligibility factors:
--Individuals who are still unable to receive income from other sources

TIMELINE:
You will be notified regarding the status of your application upon Theatre Philadelphia's review and based on the capacity of the program budget.
Please note that submitting an application does not mean you will automatically be accepted for a third micro-grant.
If ACCEPTED, we will do our best to expedite the distribution of micro-grants following review and verification of applications, but please allow two to four weeks from the date of submission for processing. If WAITLISTED, we will work to review your application for the next round of awards in the order that we received it.
