Recirculate takes donated bikes, renovated them in prison workshops and locates them with NHS staff and families in need.

This social value initiative was developed by Equans (formerly Bouygues E&S Solutions), InfraRed and Vercity, working closely with staff and partners. We are delighted to be working with Equans now too. By providing bikes as an alternative form of transport the project is able to contribute to the overall wellbeing of the bike recipients and promote sustainable transport. Over 200 bikes have been given away so far.

The work of renovating the bikes provides important work experience for prisoners, who receive full bike mechanic training, and therefore improves employment opportunities and reduces social exclusion.

We have seen huge demand from hospital workers for the renovated bikes, mainly for getting to and from work, and we are in need of more bikes, adult bikes in particular. If you have an old or unused adult bike you are able to donate to a hospital worker please fill in the form below. We will contact you as soon as possible with more information on whether we can use your bike.

We have storage in Peterborough, Oxford and West London and will try to come and collect your bike if you are not able to drop it off.

If you have more than one bike to donate please complete a different form for each bike.

THANK YOU!
