2019 Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Spring Planting
Help the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge restore critical wildlife habitat that was destroyed by wildfire by planting seedlings on Saturday, November 2, 2019, noon to 3 pm with Rotary District 5400.

Meet at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, 13751 Upper Embankment Road, Nampa, ID  83686, for introductions and snacks.

Please bring a shovel and gloves for each member of your group. Planting will involve hiking, digging, kneeling, and bending over to plant. Planting will be by hand & shovel. Remember to dress appropriately for weather! Layer your clothing, wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots, and bring a hat. There is a restroom at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Center, our initial meeting location.
