LHC Students: Middle School Leader Application
Thank you so much for your interest in serving the next generation of middle school students! A few things to note:
1. This application is due by AUGUST 13th!
2. Training for ALL volunteers will be Sunday, August 15th at 5pm.
3. This application must be submitted by the STUDENT leader (not his/her parent)
4. This application is to serve with our middle school students on a weekly basis.
5. Middle School services are at 6:30pm Wednesday evenings. High School services are at 8:00pm.
6. There are multiple ways you can serve - as a volunteer or a student leader! (See expectations below)

Volunteer expectations:
- Be present at the middle school services on Wednesday night and be willing to help any way that is needed!
- Intentionally learn and get to know students to create a welcoming environment

Student Leader expectations:
- Lead a small group WEEKLY on Wednesday nights (if you don't think you can commit to most weeks, please be honest and consider being a volunteer. Small group leaders are expected to be there on a regular basis to disciple their group)
- Check in with you students via text weekly
- Disciple your group! Meet with your group outside of regular services to continue to build relationships and disciple your middle school group (at least once a month outside of Wednesday nights)

Expectations of ALL:
- Arrive early: Student leaders will arrive at 6:00pm
- Lead & be an example: This is a commitment to lead and be an example to middle-school students who will be looking up to and learning from you (which is both an amazing privilege and big responsibility).
- Attend church: Attend high school services on Wednesday nights after Middle School
