This training will provide best practices on working with community members who identify as LGBTQ+ and are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. It will include:
* Learning best practices to create affirming, inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ individuals;
* Understanding policies and specific challenges that LGBTQ+ individuals have in accessing safe housing;
* Using positive youth development framework to center the voices and experiences of LGBTQ+ youth as they
relate to homelessness; and
* Reviewing local and national trends pertaining to this community
