- Ensuring engagement and participation in the large group guest speakers
- Helping with clean up and prep for next day's functions and events.
Our campers will participate in both large group activities as well as be divided out into small groups, and volunteers will guide campers in their various small group projects and activities. Each small group of campers will remain together for the length of the camp and will be lead by an adult and teen small group leader.
Our teen leaders will work alongside with adults to assist the campers in performing tasks, games, crafts, and projects. Our goal is to encourage our teen leaders to develop and embrace their natural leadership styles, gain self-confidence, rise to meet the challenge, step outside of their comfort zones, lead as role models to our young girls, and strengthen their fundamental skills needed to participate successfully in society.
* Because of the nature of our camp working with minors, all adult
volunteers 18+ older will be required to perform a background check. Data
collected will be held in strict confidentiality and results will be disclosed only
to the camp director, Jennifer Jordan, should there be reason why the applicant
would be unqualified to volunteer around minors. This process is to ensure the
safety of our campers.
Please fill out information below. Deadline for Volunteer sign up for the upcoming July 2024 camp will be June 1, 2024.
