If you've already bought a ticket to be a player, don't worry! Staff and NPCs who have Official Responsibilities that take place on site don't need to pay, so your tickets will be refunded to you.

Some roles explained:
NPCs (non-player characters) are an ensemble of actors who will, over the course of the game, play multiple characters in a variety of settings. They may be friend or foe and exist to help move the story forward by providing conflict, companionship, and/or information to player characters, often in group settings. When they are not in a scene, NPCs will assist as necessary with logistics (delivering, carrying, herding, etc). The majority of the roles NPCs will play will be distributed before the event and flexible costuming guidelines for these characters will be provided at least a month before game. Helpful (but not necessary) experience: improv, theatre (acting and/or tech), puppetry, costumes/makeup.

The four Counselor Embedded Roles will be “in the know” about their plots and campers. From inside the game as the head of a Branch, they will help facilitate plot and coordinate and guide the players to better their games. They will also be responsible for communicating with staff and providing real-time feedback to help with game direction. Counselors characters must fill game needs (authority figure, approachable support) and must be malleable enough to fill other needs as they arise (gossip-monger, hapless victim, clue-giver, etc) but will otherwise have freedom to make their own character choices.
