Scheduling at FSE is a complicated process. This is due to the limited availability of teaching spaces, the large number of programmes/tracks/specializations plus the fact that programmes share many courses that need to be aligned.
Making yourself available for teaching as widely as possible will result in the best possible timetables for students and staff.
You can be requested to teach between 17:00 and 19:00. We try to avoid scheduling educational activities between 17:00 and 19:00 as much as possible and we try to spread scheduling in this time slot between the different programmes and staff members.
If you are not available at all between 17:00-19:00 due to personal circumstances, please ask your (Institute or SSE) director to send a request to the Faculty Board for an exemption. If you are structurally unavailable for one or two evenings, you can indicate so in this form.
