Intent to Apply: 2021-2022 FRYSC AmeriCorps Partner (Literacy)
FRYSC Corps is making plans in anticipation of COVID Response funds through our federal funder, AmeriCorps.

FRYSC AmeriCorps works with Kentucky’s Division of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers. AmeriCorps the Agency funds FRYSC CORPS through a competitive federal grant that provides a living allowance, health and education benefits and training for service minded individuals. These individuals become reading tutors and remove other nonacademic barriers to learning at host FRYSCs in Kentucky schools.

The information from intents to apply will help us prepare for program and budget planning once the federal request for proposals are available. FRYSC Corps will use your information to contact you with application materials when AmeriCorps the Agency clarifies funding.

We do not have a clear timeline. However, we anticipate that this program would begin service in August or September of the 2020-2021 school year.
