تقوم المبادرة على عدد من البرامج لترجمة وتقييم وتنقيح ترجمات أصول الإسلام والأعمال الرائدة ف العلوم الإسلامية المختلفة إلى اللغة الإنجليزية وغيرها من اللغات العالمية، بحيث يكون لكل كتاب من الكتب برنامج للترجمة إلى اللغة الإنجليزية، ثم إلى بقية اللغات، حسب الأهمية وتوفر الكوادر والإمكانات. وسوف يتم اختيار كتاب أو أكثر في كل فرع من فروع العلوم الإسلامية مع تقسيمها إلى كتب مختصرة ومتوسطة ومطولة يتم الانتهاء منها بنفس الترتيب. وقد تم تحديد أكثر من 60 كتابًا مختصرًا ومطولاً تغطي غالب فروع العلوم الإسلامية لترجمتها إلى اللغة الإنجليزية كمرحلة أولى ، ثم إلى اللغات (الفرنسية، الإسبانية، الفلبينية، الإندونيسية، البرتغالية، الروسية، الأردية، الهندية) كمرحلة ثانية.

The initiative is based on several programs for translating, evaluating and revising the translations of the origins of Islam and the pioneering works of various Islamic sciences into English and other foreign languages; so that each of the books has a translation program into English, and then into the rest of the languages, according to the importance and availability of cadres and capabilities. Three or more books will be selected in each branch of the Islamic sciences and divided into short (handbook), medium-length, and long books that will be completed in the same order. More than 60 short and lengthy books covering most branches of Islamic sciences have been selected for translation into English as a first stage, and then into the (French, Spanish, Filipino, Indonesian, Portuguese, Russian, Urdu, and Hindi) languages as a second stage.
