Climate Emergency Reading Room & Community Altar
Launching at Seattle Art Book Fair May 11-12, 2024, the Climate Emergency Reading Room & Community Altar will travel to install at other art events in the future. Fill this form out if you'd like to submit a publication or object to be a part of the Reading Room & Community Altar. It can be just for SABF, or a submission to join the traveling library for future reading rooms too.

The reading room will include books on local issues, renewable energy and solarpunk, political organizing, grief, taking action, resource sharing, artist-publishing, and community.

At the community altar, we are offering thanks to our planet and the abundant resources it provides. We invite attendees to bring objects (flowers, fruits, nuts, leaves, branches, and other local flora, rocks, shells, feathers, etc) that represent gratitude to the natural world.

Feel free to bring small objects to add to the altar without filling out this form!

If you are submitting multiple publications or objects, you do not need to re-fill the parts of the form about your websites/press info!
