All programs will be held at Annie's Answer *new* facility - we now have indoor and outdoor riding arenas, climate controlled classrooms, and other exciting facilities not offered elsewhere!

Leading - basics

Leading - can lead strong horses or keep control of a horse that has a minor spook

Equine Care experience - to demonstrate/answer camper questions, we are NOT looking for anyone to do these tasks for us. E.g.: feeding, filling water buckets, scoop manure with stall fork, give horse flakes of hay, etc.)

Mini Horses - (leading, making sure mini isn't overwhelmed by students. other volunteers will make sure students don't get toes stepped on).

Bathing horses (we have outdoor wash racks with cross ties)

Riding - (riding programs) helping students understand steering (in classroom or while mounted)

Riding - (riding programs) helping students understand riding leg & foot position (basics - not squeezing foot into horse, not having leg on flank)

Leading - (riding programs) while student is mounted and keeping focused only on horse

Side walking - (riding programs) while student is mounted and keeping focused only on student

Tacking up horses -(riding programs)- saddling - can assist with saddling (need someone to check position & girth)

Tacking up horses - (riding programs) - saddling - can saddle horse independently (basic english tack)

Tacking up horses - (intermediate riding programs only) - Bridle - can bridle horse independently

Transportation is not provided, but we try to connect volunteers interested in carpooling.
