This award is intended to recognize those students who have worked hard, despite having suffering from adverse childhood experiences, and have persevered through these adversities. Please describe the adverse conditions that have negatively impacted your nominee as well as you are able (there may be privacy reasons as to why you may not go into details), as well as how they have managed to show improvement despite those conditions. You may nominate students who have shown improvement in areas such as attendance, good citizenship, effort, or other related academic areas. Please do not nominate students for general pandemic-related reasons (unless the student suffered from health-related reasons that negatively impacted their performance in the aforementioned areas), as the pandemic has negatively impacted all students and adults.
