2023 Bob & Millie Lynn Grant Application
The National Press Photographers Foundation (NPPF) is pleased to provide a $4,000 to encourage photojournalists to pursue stories that expose the side of American society that tends to be under-covered and ignored. The grant is awarded annually to a photojournalist to aid in creating and executing a significant project that will shed light on important social issues.

The statement should explain how you propose to use the $4000 grant. Explain the project, why it is important and how you will start or continue to work on it.
Please include outlets you see as potential outcomes for the project.

This brief statement should explain, your project timeline, logistics and how you propose to use the fellowship funds. You may also include what if any assistance NPPF can provide beyond finances.

Provide a concise résumé highlighting the depth of your experience, the quality of your work and your commitment to completing a project of consequence is required. You may copy resume here or upload a PDF of your resume.

Image preparation- For full image preparation guidelines please see website. Upload only 1 folder, sub folders may be used inside main folder, containing no more than 30 images

NPPF reserves the right to request raw or untoned .jpg files of submitted images from finalists to ensure the integrity of images.
Required
Video submissions-
Provide URL's for at least two(2) of your original pieces that demonstrate your abilities or reflect your proposed project.
Videos should be uploaded to Vimeo or Youtube, provide password if applicable.
NPPA Code of Ethics

• The recipient understands that they must adhere to the highest professional,ethical and personal standards for visual journalists. At its sole discretion, violations of these standards will result in withdrawal of the Fellowship and
funding by NPPF.
• An entry may not contain images that have been manipulated digitally in violation of generally accepted professional photojournalistic standards. Photographers should review and adhere to the National Press Photographers Association's code of ethics with respect to image manipulation.
• NPPF, in its sole discretion, retains the right to disqualify any entry found to include manipulated images or situations.
• NPPF, in its sole discretion, may exercise its right to rescind the entire award amount if the grantee is found to have manipulated images beyond what is professionally accepted as noted in the NPPA Code of Ethics.
