TRIO Upward Bound Interest Form
Please complete this form if you are interested in joining TRIO Upward Bound (TRIO UB) in the College of Education & Human Developement at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.  This information will help us connect with you directly to provide more information on the application process.

TRIO UB is an academic and college preparatory program funded by the US Department of Education. The purpose of TRIO UB is to develop the skills and motivation necessary for students to successfully complete high school and to enter and succeed in college. The program serves students who are First Generation (neither parent has a college degree) and/or students from low income family backgrounds. We serve students from,
- Edison Sr. High School;
- North Senior Academy;
- Patrick Henry High School;
- South High School.

To be an eligible participant of TRIO Upward Bound, you must meet two of the following critera:

- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States;
- Have a current grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or above;
- Be a potential first-generation college student (parents have not earned a four year college degree)
- Have a household income-eligible background (Free or reduced lunch)
