Milwaukee Film Festival Press Accreditation
Members of the press who are working on assignment to cover films and events at the 2023 Milwaukee Film Festival may apply for credentials to receive access to public films, events, panels, and more. There are multiple tiers of accreditation that provide a variety of access opportunities.

Applying for press accreditation does not guarantee tier level or acceptance, and entry into public screenings and events is not guaranteed, regardless of accreditation status. Pass holders and ticket holders must be in line at least 30 minutes prior to the start of a screening. Ticket to individual screenings must be requested at least one day before the desired screening and are subject to availability.

By applying for press accreditation, you agree to make your name, media outlet, and contact information available to filmmakers and distributors with work being screened in the Festival. Please email press@mkefilm.org for more information.

Tier 1 accreditation includes:

  • A Festival press pass that grants the opportunity to access public screenings and events. Press passes are nontransferable.

  • Priority access to red-carpet events and filmmaker interviews

  • Daily updates regarding Festival screenings, guests, and events

  • Access to press screeners, as available, to be used exclusively for event coverage

TIER 2 – PRESS TICKET ACCREDITATION

A limited number of complimentary tickets will be reserved at each Festival screening for Tier 2 accredited members of the press.

Tier 2 accreditation includes:

  • Opportunity to request press tickets; limited tickets are available for Tier 2 accredited press

  • Access, as available, to red-carpet events and filmmaker interviews

  • Daily updates regarding Festival screenings, guests, and events

  • Access to press screeners, as available, to be used exclusively for event coverage

TIER 3 – SPECIAL INTEREST ACCREDITATION

If you intend to cover a limited number of films under a specific topic or category, Milwaukee Film may be able to issue complimentary tickets to specific film screenings. Tickets must be requested at least one day before the desired screening and are subject to availability.  Please complete the application form and indicate your area of interest under "Special Interests" near the end.
