We are excited to be able to offer a pre-competitive program this season

Spaces are limited this season so please keep in mind you may be put on a waitlist if spaces fill up quicker than we can accommodate.

Pre-competitive is ideal for athletes ages 7-12 and want to move up to competitive in the next year or two. If you are interested in the program but are outside this age range please contact the Sea Stars main email.

Pre-competitive practices are twice a week and will run from Thursday September 14th until the end of Season at the beginning of June.

Practices will be Thursday at the Mews centre from 5:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays at the MUN pool from 10:30am-12:00pm. While this is not quite the same commitment as competitive, it is a little step up from recreational and the expectation for practices and commitment slightly higher. We will build on skills from Aqua go and start building basics to be ready to transition into the competitive program.

We will assess in the first week of practices to determine if pre-competitive is appropriate for your athlete. If not quite ready, they can continue on in Aqua Go!

Pre-competitive has a registration fee of $75 in September and again in January, and a monthly fee of $150/month.The $75 registration fee is a non-refundable registration fee*

* The $75 fee may be refundable only if after 2 sessions swimmer will not be continuing.
