2025 APS 9-12th Summer Rebound (Summer School) 9-12th Grade Credit Recovery Registration 

Please fill out the information below. After submission, you will receive a copy of your responses. Additional details about course enrollments and in-person support session dates will be sent to students' school emails the week of June 13th, after Semester II grades are finalized. Students MUST check their APS email regularly as Summer Rebound staff will reach out throughout June.

Summer Rebound Overview:

  • Program: Online Credit Recovery courses supported by APS teaching staff.
  • Cost: No cost for students.
  • Registration:
    • Opens: April 10
    • Closes: June 13th

Location: Thunder Bay Junior High Media Center

  • Students can choose up to one full credit of Credit Recovery courses (2 semester courses).
  • Math Pathway students can complete their Math Pathways course and one additional credit recovery course.
  • In-person class days will be assigned by Summer Rebound staff (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).
  • Students will be notified of their assigned class day the week of June 17th.

Attendance Requirements:

  • Students must attend their scheduled class day each week until course completion.
  • If there are prior commitments (family vacations, Drivers Education, sports camps), please inform Summer Rebound staff beforehand.
  • First Class Days: June 24, June 25, or June 26
  • Class Hours: 8:00 a.m. - Noon

Course Access:

  • Courses will open on the first class day if students attend in-person or have prior approval.
  • Students must log in and begin working by June 27th.
  • For those requesting two courses, the second course will open only after at least 75% completion of the first course by July 11th.

Grading Policy:

  • A minimum final grade of 60% is required to earn credit for any Credit Recovery course.
  • Edison Online Credit Recovery Course students will receive a "CR" for successful completion and an "NC" for failed or incomplete courses.
  • Math Pathways Course students will receive the actual grade earned, with an "F" for failed or incomplete courses.

Important Note: Students who do not complete their credit recovery courses may lose future online learning opportunities with APS.

Completion Deadline: August 7 @ midnight. No extensions will be provided.
