Live Proud: Acceptance Begins At Home
Hello, Guam! 
The GALA Live Proud Social Marketing Campaign is a long-standing campaign intended to bring awareness to the health and social challenges impacting the LGBTQIA+ community. The Live Proud campaign has featured materials focused on HIV/AIDS, stigma and shame, substance abuse, bullying, etc. Over the years, we have produced informational materials, video commercials and other creative products. Members of the local community have shared their personal stories, talents, and images in support of this movement. Live Proud Social Marketing Campaign has been funded by the Office of Minority Health Resource Center (Maryland), Department of Public Health and Social Services, Immunization & the Guam Behavioral Health & Wellness Center. 
Acceptance Begins at Home series is a part of the movement that illustrates family as a key component of creating an inclusive environment. Published materials and other creative products for Acceptance Begins at Home were last designed 8+ years ago. With this survey, GALA would like to hear about the new wave of LGBTQIA+ community & allies experiences to reinvigorate the series. GALA aims to share these stories with the people of Guam who may need assistance when navigating through forming their identities or understanding the best means of offering support to their loved ones.
