Home Hacker Robotics & Programming courses gets kids excited about science & technology trough fun, innovative hands-on projects.  Home Hackers build, program and interact with their very own robot that they get to keep.  The kids work with hardware & software, which is critical to understanding how computerized devices work.  In our extra credit courses & workshops kids dig deeper into components, soldering and programming.   Technology is advancing at a rapid pace.  Help your kids learn how devices are made and work.  Here from  is a video of some of the activities we do at our live summer camp.  We do the same things in all of our online classes!  It is fun, hands on, and a great learning environment to get your children up to speed on the latest in technology.  It builds knowledge & confidence.

LEVEL 1 - ROBOTICS & PROGRAMMING COURSE (ONLINE)
In the Level 1 Robotics & Programming Course we build robots and use the computer programming language Scratch to “train” the robot to perform specific tasks (like chase your cat or dog) and complete challenges.  We learn about programming logic, loops, conditional statements and more.  We work with both visual programming & command line programming.  We learn how to troubleshoot & upload the programs to our computerized robots. Students keep their robots and have the skill and code to continue to work on it beyond class.  The robot is reused in Lvl 2 & 3 courses.  *No Prerequisites.  *Includes Course & Robot to keep.    CHOOSE 1 SESSION PER STUDENT

LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE ROBOTICS & PROGRAMMING CLASS (ONLINE)
In the Level 2 Robotics & Programming Course students take their programming skills to the next level. We program the robots to use advanced sensor technology to avoid obstacles and follow specific programming rules.  We teach students how to have their robot detect cliffs or sound alarms if they are "stolen". We learn the fundamentals of Python programming language.   *Prerequisite: HHC Level 1    *Reuses robot from Lvl 1
LEVEL 2 - EXTRA CREDIT COURSE (ONLINE) - DISCO DOT BUILD
Level 1 Extra Credit Course (Optional) -  In this stand alone project build class where students learn how to build and program a sound reactive LED based "Disco Dot". This is an Arduino based sensor project where soldering and programming are key components. *Prerequisite:  *Prerequisites: HHC Level 1 & 2 + Mini Course "Catch Me"   *Younger students require parent assistance
SUMMER CAMP (Online) - Robotics & Programming Level 1
Level 1 Extra Credit Course (Optional) -  In this stand alone project build class where students learn how to build and program a sound reactive LED based "Disco Dot". This is an Arduino based sensor project where soldering and programming are key components. *Prerequisite:  *Prerequisites: HHC Level 1 & 2 + Mini Course "Catch Me"   *Younger students require parent assistance
Summer Mini Course (Online) - "Catch Me" Game Build
Super fun class where students learn all about the electronic components, how they work, what they do and solder it all together! When finished students will have a handheld flashing light game.
Summer Mini Course (Online):  "Catch Me" Game Build - Select Select Self Paced or Instructor Led
Catch Me Game - In this fun mini-course you learn about computer components, circuitry, how to solder while building a fun handheld clicker game!  The course includes all of the game components and the online instruction.  A soldering iron is required but not included (we will send a link for recommended iron if you do not own one). *Ages 5 - 95  *No Prerequisites  *Students younger than 15 require parent participation.
