Get ready for Otter Creak, Northern Tier, Hiking Merit Badge! This event has it all!
What: Day HIKE the Muddy Branch Trail from Rt. 28 to the Potomac River! There are stopping and pick up points all along the trail for you and your younger scouts can complete as much as you feel able. Do all 10+ miles of this day hike and start working towards the hiking merit badge.
When: Sunday, July 7th - Meet at 7:45 - Depart at 8 am.
Where: Start at Montgomery County Police Station - 100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20878

Pickup Point 4 - 8.1 miles - 2.5-4 hours
Potomac and back to Point 4 - 10.1+ Miles - 3.5-5.5 hours

Pickup time 12:00 PM - 2 PM depending on our pace and how long we hang out viewing the Potomac.
