Pitaara UnSkool - Application Form

We are excited to see you here and would love to meet you soon . Pitaara UnSkool is our flagship offering. UnSkool is the first online Self-designed learning program built on the principles of choice-based and interest-led learning. We  offer a holistic program for children to design their learning and learn from anywhere in the country.

It's a full time program which is offered throughout the year. A child has to join for a minimum of one month. Though we recommend that you at least sign up for 3 months to experience this program fully.

1. Age Group - This program is offered for 7-11 year olds

2. Flexible -  Though the program is year long, there are multiple entry and exit points. This means that you join for the months you wish to and pay only for the months you join. At any given point in the year, minimum amount of time you have to commit is one month.

3. Design - We offer multiple courses each month and work with children to design their own learning journeys. We strongly recommend that you check our program page to understand the different elements and workings of the UnSkool Program. Here is the link: https://www.pitaara.org/unskoolfeatures

4. Pillars -  Choice, Exploration and Community are the holding pillars of the UnSkool program

5. Time-Commitment - Anywhere between 30mins - 2 hours per day, depending on the number of studios a child has signed up for.

6. Who is this for? - For unschoolers, homeschoolers, self-directed learners and school going children who want to design their own learning

7. Language - The program at this point is offered in English with some sprinkling of Hindi.

This application process is created for us to know you and help us see if UnSkool program is the right fit for you. If the application is selected, we will reach out to you for an in-person conversation. Following this, we will start the onboarding process for you and the child.

Alternative education is a term used for educational approach that doesn't believe in the prevalent conventional education system. If you have no questions, do mention that.
UnSkool is a year long program started May 16th, 2022. We enroll new participants every month. Please choose the month you'd like to join in.
UnSkool is a subscription based model. You can join in for the months you'd like to after you have completed the admission process.
Clear selection
Please read this carefully! Tuition fee and financial aid: The real value of this program at global market rates is around $300 per month, which converts to INR 21000. However, Pitaara Unleashed offers it at INR 5000 because we want it to be as accessible as possible. As an independent social enterprise, we cover the remaining costs through our own consulting and other ongoing projects. Nonetheless, we understand that the tuition fee may still be a barrier for many families. So, there will be limited financial aid available. Please note that any financial aid offered only covers the cost of the Program. You will still have to invest some small amount in materials required in the different courses. If you would like to apply for financial aid, please check the box below. We will sit on a call with you to understand your requirements and accordingly offer you a scholarship.
