Step Ahead Psychological Services P.C., hosts various remote classes/seminars for parents. These 60-90 minute interactive workshops are taught at various times throughout the month to accommodate parent schedules including lunch hours, late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Current Offerings Include:

- Step Ahead of Tantrums: This 90-min class introduces the "why" of tantrums and presents  a wide variety of  behavior management  & emotion-regulation strategies for children 3- 8 years of age. 

- Build your Child's Emotion Regulation Toolkit: This 60 minute course introduces emotion regulation strategies for children of all ages. This course will prepare parents to make an at-home toolkit to use when your child is angry, anxious, or upset. 

- Emotion Regulation Strategies for Kids- Advanced: This 90-minute course provides in detail instruction, practice, and resources for practicing various emotion-regulation strategies at home with your child.

- Introduction to ADHD:  Brief 60 minute introduction to what ADHD is, how it is diagnosed, treatment and services.  Beneficial for parents of children of all ages, though best for parents of school-age children. 

- A Parent's Guide to Autism: This  class is for parents of children who have a formal autism diagnosis. In this 90 minute course, I will introduce autism and recommended treatments. 

- Autism Signs & Symptoms : This 60 minute  class is for parents who suspect their child might have Autism. We will discuss signs and symptoms, and next steps if you would like to get your child assessed. 


Classes are a non-refundable $30.00 fee per family.  Payment is only requested once participant has agreed to class time. You will be sent payment information after you RSVP and then will receive the zoom link. If you have already paid and are unable to attend the session you chose, you can transfer your payment to the next available class.
