LDE Survey 2
The LDE Task Force has reviewed the data collected from the first survey and identified themes and ideas that stood out in the survey questions and comments.  This second survey is to help the LDE Task Force determine which items will be pushed through and implemented for LDE contests in the future.   We thank you for your time and consideration of these questions.

1. The Middle School Quiz Bowl Contest should include 5th and 6th grade students.  *
2. Would you like more specific guides and rules to be created for the holding room that all district and sectional hosts will follow to create uniformity between contests. *
3. We will follow the National FFA Policy for the open door policy for viewing LDE Contests will include a room setup guide with people viewing sitting behind the competitors.  We will create a policy handout.  There will be no viewers for the Employability Skills Contest. *
4. Agricultural Issues should be added to the Sectional Speaking Contest to increase participation. *
5. Agricultural Issues should be better publicized to increase participation. *
6. A regular annual entry date should be set for Conduct of Chapter Meetings. *
7. Conduct of Chapter Meetings should be held at the Sectional speaking contest to increase participation and help prepare teams before state convention. *
8. The FFA Creed currently can only be competed in one time by an FFA member.  Should FFA members be allowed to participate more than once? *
9. If you answered yes to question 8 how many times should an FFA member be allowed to compete in the creed contest?

10. Should FFA chapters be able to sign up more than 2 Creed speakers? *
11. Could FFA Chapters fill in spaces left open by other chapters in the Creed contest at the District Contest? *
12. Discussion Meet time keepers currently stand during the 30 second opening remarks.  Farm Bureau discussion meet uses red and yellow cards. Should FFA follow the Farm Bureau procedures and use the red and yellow cards? *
13. Would it be better if the District and Sectional LDE Contests were held during the day instead of after school? *
14. Would FFA members learn and benefit more about their speaking skills from a rubric with comments rather than just the comment sheet?  This would be a new document created to provide feedback. *
15. Would a spreadsheet of judges names be helpful for planning an LDE contest at the district and/or sectional level? *
17. Would you be in favor of having an accommodations LDE contest for students with IEPs?  This would be noncompetitive and presented at the same time as the District and Sectional LDEs.  *
