The NURECAB webinar "Small Modular Reactors" will be held on December 23, 2024 in online format within the EU funded project "EU-UA nuclear research and education capacity building" (NURECAB, GA#101173510, Euratom, Horizon Europe).

The seminar will be devoted to some aspects of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs)SMRs embody innovative safety features, which pave the way for integrating nuclear technologies into new industrial applications and make them more attractive to potential investors.

The NURECAB webinar is aimed to:

  • European Industrial Alliance on Small Modular Reactors.
  • Overview of alliance projects (initiatives).
  • Strategic, political and economics issues of SMR.
