MIT/Harvard AAMP Subscription to mailing list

Every summer, we reach out to faculty and institutions to share the AAMP application with any relevant students or mailing lists. If you are a faculty, program advisor/coordinator, or student interested in being notified when next year's application open, please subscribe below.

Program Description:

The MIT/Harvard Application Assistance and Mentoring Program (AAMP) is a graduate student initiative at MIT and Harvard aimed to help students learn more about the application process and graduate study in economics. The AAMP seeks to increase the pipeline of diverse talent in economics PhD programs and welcomes participation from all groups underrepresented in economics and from students at various stages of their economics studies, including undergraduates and college graduates. Every year, we match undergraduates with a PhD student who can discuss, over a few Zoom meetings, the application process, application materials, and what economics research and life as a PhD student look like.

Please note that the MIT / Harvard Economics AAMP is a volunteer-based, student-run program. This program is not considered part of the admissions process for the Economics PhD at MIT or Harvard, nor will any student's participation in the AAMP be considered by the Graduate Admissions Committee at either school.
