Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Calling All Crows. Volunteers help set up a table with provided materials at the venue and talk to attendees throughout the night from behind and beyond the table.
Our top volunteers are excited to strike up conversations with their fellow music fans about how we can all make shows, festivals, and our broader communities safer, plus recruit enthusiastic fans to get involved more deeply in the campaign. We will also accept donations to support this programming.
You don't need to have any sort of expert knowledge, but if talking to strangers isn't your thing, then this probably isn't the right volunteer opportunity for you. Follow us (@callingallcrows) on social media for other opportunities to get involved!
Commitment:
- 30 minute phone training before the show (to be scheduled)
- Arrival to venue 30 minutes before doors open for set up and on-boarding (exact time varies by show and will be confirmed)
- From doors open until the merch line ends (approx 15 minutes after the show ends) on show night (taking breaks for the music, of course!): Educate fans about how to be active bystanders, ask them to sign our petition for venues and festivals to publish and improve their harassment policies, and share ways they can get involved in Calling All Crows' and our partners' work
- Email follow-up after the event with Calling All Crows
Each volunteer gets free admission to the show on the night(s) you volunteer.
