Farrington High School Chromebook Requests
Need a Chromebook for school?  The following form is REQUIRED for us to help you sign up for one.  

Some teaching subjects have Chromebooks already in the classroom and some teaching subjects may not need it (example. P.E).  
When you are in class please make the decision if a Chromebook is required for your academic needs.
Once we get the information from you.  We will contact or schedule you to do a pickup of the Chromebook, or we will come to drop it off to your classroom.

To keep Farrington at excellent standards and to ensure proper use of our equipment, please fill out the following form.  Chromebooks are in limited quantities, and improper management or use of school property reduces resources for other students to use on campus.

Once filled out,  a member of the tech team will reach out to you to fill out a contract for borrowing a Chromebook and charger (either through email or in person).

If the Chromebook is in active use (Student has been logging into their Chromebook daily for academic or school purposes) or if the Chromebook is returned in normal working condition, there will be no obligation charge.  If the Chromebook or charger is returned in Good/excellent condition with no signs of damage but simply does not power on, we will assign another Chromebook to the student at no obligation.

When borrowing a Chromebook and charger, understand that you are borrowing school property and THERE WILL BE AN OBLIGATION ASSIGNED TO YOU IF THE CHROMEBOOK AND/OR ITS CHARGER IS STOLEN.  THERE WILL BE AN OBLIGATION ASSIGNED IF THE CHROMEBOOK IS RETURNED LOST, DAMAGED OR UNUSABLE.

For those borrowing Chromebooks, it is expected that you bring them to school DAILY.  
Teachers will be given a list of students who have borrowed one from school.

Laptops are in limited supply and some classrooms only have a small amount of laptops to cover the students who are NOT able to borrow a laptop.  By leaving your FHS loaned laptop at home, and using an in class laptop, this means that you could possibly take away the abilities for another student (who is unable to borrow) in class to use a laptop. I understand that I am to return my own Chromebook.  I will not give it to the teachers to return it for me and I will not give it to a friend to return it for me on my behalf. *
Many students have left their laptops to friends or teachers.  Because it has not been returned to the tech team,  many have not been able to participate in other activities such a prom and graduation because chromebooks were not returned to the proper people. (Input Student ID Number)
