The Borlaug-Ruan International Internship provides students a unique professional experience working with world-renowned scientists and policymakers at leading research and development organizations in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East.

Please keep in mind that this is an in-person experience and selected interns will be traveling internationally independently. Therefore, it is most helpful to the Selections Committee if you keep that context in mind when filling out the form. Some of the types of characteristics we're looking for are high levels of independence, maturity, professionalism, and problem solving skills.
