The first two workshops in April and May are FULL and REGISTRATION is CLOSED.

The Local Affiliate Support Working Group of Coming to the Table is launching a series of training workshops to support the development of leaders/facilitators for new and existing Local Affiliate Groups as well as for the new National Virtual Affiliate Group that recently began meeting monthly. These workshops will be scheduled for two four-hours per day over a weekend (total of 8 hours).

Additional workshops will be announced in late spring or early summer. We anticipate scheduling them multiple times each year so all who wish to participate will be able to do so.

Topics to be covered in these interactive workshops include: Circle Process, Touchstones & Values, Trauma Awareness, Restorative Justice, and the four Pillars of the CTTT Approach (Uncovering History, Making Connections, Working Toward Healing, and Taking Action.

There is a lot of interest in these trainings. Forty-six people expressed interest in starting a new Local Affiliate Group in their community, 111 interested in being trained as a facilitator for their existing local group, or improving their facilitation skills, and 96 more want to be trained as a facilitator for the National Virtual Group in the Fall when new volunteer facilitators will take over (the first six months of the national virtual group meetings are being facilitated by existing, experienced facilitators, with the understanding that new volunteers will be trained to take over in the Fall).

The course instructors will be in touch approximately 2-3 weeks in advance of each workshop.
