Smith Rock Hike
Join us Nov. 16th at  9am at Community Presbyterian Church's parking lot and we’ll carpool to Smith Rock State Park.

Description and Difficulty Level: This hike is about 5 miles round trip there and back. We will be hiking along the Crooked River to the trail junction heading up to Monkey Face and then hiking back along the river to the cars. The hike starts with a steep trail that leads to the river. This part of the trail is about .25 miles. The rest of the trail is fairly level with not much elevation gain or loss. This trail is considered easy with the exception of slightly difficult .25 mile decline at the beginning and incline at the end.

What to bring:At least 64 oz of water-Trail food-Sack lunch-Hiking poles-Rain Jacket and layers ( just in case)-Couple dollars for gas State Park Pass (if you are driving)
