2023 Scholarship Application
Applications are now open for the Kansas Rush Wichita - College Scholarship Initiative

The KRW - CSI was started in 2020 by the KRW coaching staff in an effort to financially assist KRW graduates who are continuing their soccer careers at the collegiate level.  Through monthly, voluntary giving from the KRW coaching staff, funds have been raised to award one-time, non-renewable college scholarships to multiple graduating seniors who have been members of KRW for at least three years and will be playing college soccer.

Number and amount of awards can vary, based on yearly availability.

Online Application and Video Upload - DEADLINE is 5PM on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2024
Applications and videos will be reviewed by the KRW scholarship selection committee
Award recipients will be announced on Thursday, February 22 at A Night with KRW

Steps to Apply:
1.  Complete this online Google Application by February 15, 2024
2.  Create a self-interview video and share via Google Drive with
          adam.hunter@kansasrushwichita.com
     -video must be shared by 5PM on February 15, 2024
     -video will be the property of KRW and will be used for the club's marketing purposes

Video Requirements:
     -video must express your passion for soccer and the role Kansas Rush Wichita has had
     -video should be between 90-120 seconds and cover a number of the below topics

     -INTRODUCTION:
          -name, high school, position, where you are going to college
     -COLLEGE:
          -why did you choose the college that you are headed to
     -HISTORY WITH RUSH:
          -when did you start at the club and what brought you to the club
          -what team(s) have you played on at the club
          -what successes have you had at the club (personal and/or team success)
          -who have been your coaches at the club
          -recall an impressionable memory from your time at the club
     -WHAT HAS RUSH MEANT TO YOU:
          -cover areas in regards to your development, passion, social experience, etc.
     -REACHING YOUR COLLEGE SOCCER GOALS:
          -how has the club played a role in helping you reach your college soccer goals
     -THANK YOU
          -express your gratitude for the club

Application Requirements:
-Applicant must be a Class of 2023 high school graduate
-Applicant must have been a member of Kansas Rush Wichita for at least three years
-Applicant must be attending and playing college soccer in the Fall of 2023
-Applicant must meet deadline by 5PM on February 15, 2024
