THIS APPLICATION IS FOR OUR FULL-TIME VIRTUAL ACADEMY, NOT FAVER ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL.

DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 10, 2021

Complete the following application to apply to BlueJay Academy.  Upon acceptance, student and parent will be notified via e-mail. (Students, this will be your school e-mail address.)  

For students new to the District, final acceptance will not be made until all necessary Guthrie Public School enrollment forms are completed via the online portal.

Upon acceptance, students and parents will also be required to complete additional paperwork including the BlueJay Academy  Parent-Student Agreement & State FERPA Agreement.

QUICK OVERVIEW:
A student cannot return to the traditional school site after the fifth (5th) day of the semester.

Students will be required to come to campus for training as needed, coursework assistance if behind or struggling, final exams, state-mandated exams, iCAP activities, and at other times as deemed necessary.

For OSSAA-Sanctioned Activities, weekly eligibility will apply. Eligibility is determined by having an "Overall" Grade of 60% or higher in all courses, being "on track" in all courses, and participating in a weekly face-to-face meeting with the teacher adviser at the designated time. This meeting can be via video conference at the scheduled time.

Be aware that primary parent & student contact throughout the year will be via e-mail and the internet-based courseware portal.
