Q1: How are TERMs defined? What are the universal TERMs? *
Q2: What is meant by “designability” of protein structure, referenced in the introduction of the TERMs paper? Do you think designability is obvious?
*
Q3: Choose one of the Results subsections of the TERMs paper and state the tested hypothesis of the subsection.

You should select from one of the subsections that describe results that evaluate TERMs (i.e.
excluding the first three subsections which describe the method). Pick the one that you find the most interesting!
*
Q4: How many 3Di states are there? What do they represent? *
Q5: From the Foldseek paper: “Sequence-based analyses will soon be largely superseded by structure-based analyses.” Do you agree or disagree? Would you rather do a sequence similarity search or a structure similarity search? *
Optional Q6: What is BLAST? Why is it important?
A copy of your responses will be emailed to .
