Fall Service Retreat - October 16

In the past we have made this an overnight event, and we hope to continue that in the future. This year presented a few unique challenges (one of which being Josiah and Noah are preaching the next day and need to be functional :) but we plan to return to the overnight format next year!!

For this year though,

- We will meet at First at 8am for a pancake breakfast and head out to serve around 9:30!
- We will provide sack lunches for the students, and hope to end our day around 2:30-3:00pm.
- We will work in groups will be working on a variety of service projects in the community, focusing on the needs of those in our immediate vicinity and congregation! Some projects will be indoors at church, and other will be outside (primarily yard work).
- If possible, send your student with some work gloves!

A rake! These will be the most necessary.

A leafblower! We would really speed up some of our projects with one or two of these.

Garden shears! We only need one pair!
