OASIS stands for Older Adult Services and Intervention System and we fall under the umbrella of Catholic Charities. We help seniors over the age of 60 remain independent in their own homes.

We are always looking for kind, honest, dependable, and reliable volunteers to assist seniors in the program. I have listed our volunteer opportunities below.

Volunteers use their own cars. A current CA Driver's License, Auto Registration, and Proof of Auto Insurance are required for all volunteers who drive in ANY capacity for OASIS.

Shopping Assistant: assist the elderly with their grocery shopping needs once a week.

Transportation: Drive Clients to and from their medical appointments in Ventura County.

Friendly Visitor: Visit homebound client regular and ongoing basis. Provide friendship.

Produce Delivery: Pickup and Deliver fresh produce boxes twice a month.

Office Volunteer: Help with data entry, client calls, receiving donations, filing, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
