We are so excited to welcome you into the congregation at First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia.  Becoming a member grants you privileges and obligations that will deepen your relationship to the community and to your own spiritual journey.  We usually meet the Thursday evening prior to the Sunday of the ceremony.  At that time, we'll get to know one another, answer any questions, and then record our new member ritual to share during Sunday's worship.

There are three things required to make membership official:

1) Attend a New Member Ceremony
2) Make a financial pledge to the congregation for an annual amount to be given
3) Sign the book!
