Remote Judging Events

Week of Jan 29-Feb 2.
We will send you the students documents and rubrics for you to judge from your own home in your own time. All that we would ask is that you send your scores back by February 2nd. The events we need remote judges are: Speaking Manuscripts, and Job Interview Documents (resume, cover letter, references).

Speaking Events - In Person at Crook County HS

Sunday February 4th, 9am-3pm.
Judges will score students on their ability to deliver a speech. This could be a prepared speech, an extemporaneous speech, or the FFA Creed. Judges will also need to be prepared to ask the students questions about their topic.

State Degree Presentations - In Person at Crook County HS

Sunday February 4th, 9am-3pm
Students applying for their Oregon FFA State Degree will present to judges about their experiences in the ag ed program. Each chapter needs 1 community member to judge their applicants. Judges will listen to presentations, check that the students talked about each area on the rubric, and ask the students questions if necessary.

Job Interview - In Person at Prineville Baptist Church

Monday February 5th, 12am-2pm
Students will compete in a mock interview conducted by the judges. The judges will need to ask the student questions as if they are applying for the job indicated by their cover letter.
