The annual Anime North Fashion Show will be taking place during Anime North the evening of Friday, May 24th, 2024 on the Main Stage of the Toronto Congress Centre's North Building.
Please note that all models require a valid admission badge to Anime North for the day of the show. The deadline to complete this application is Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:59pm. If you would like to participate in the Anime North Fashion Show after this application closes please email us at jfashionnorth@gmail.com or attend our in-person session on the day of the show (more details to be released closer to the show).
Designers and Brands:
All designers and brands must provide:
1. The names, legal names and email addresses for your models.
2. Written introduction and any specific outfit statements, two-three lines max.
3. Sample photo of your designs (an overview is fine for this application).

All street style models must provide provide our staff with the following prior to Anime North:
1. Your name, legal name, phone number and email address.
2. Written introduction, must be written in 3rd person and a max of two-three lines.*
3. Sample photo of your outfit (overview is fine for this application).
*J-Fashion Staff may edit down introductions for length or clarity.
**Street style participants may also sign up in person during the convention, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the Fashion Show start time listed in the Pocket Guide and be runway ready. J-Fashion North staff retain the right to refuse at-the-door sign ups as space can be limited.
All Participants:Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Models must have a valid day or weekend pass to the Anime North Convention.*
2. Ensure you are in attendance for curtain call. Designer or brands must have their models ready for curtain call. We recommend you be runway ready at least 30 minutes before the show start time.
3. Submit your introduction and practice poses for your runway walk.
4. Respond to communications from the Fashion Show Organizers and Staff via email (
jfashionnorth@gmail.com) and other methods of communication (messaging apps/phone/virtual discussion).
5. Providing all requested materials to J-Fashion North staff prior to communicated deadlines.
*Models are required to have a valid convention pass and to follow all Anime North rules and policies. This information will be available on
www.animenorth.com but may not be available at this time.
**Please note: Anime North does not provide outfits or lend clothing. In some special cases, our community contacts may be willing to provide outfits and dressing services for children under 15 years of age or those with disabilities. Please email us for further information.
